Dr. Chris Chui is the TMJ specialist at San Francisco Dental Wellness and a nationally recognized dentistry expert and guest lecturer. 

A graduate of UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and UC San Francisco with a Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Chui is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. 

He’s the current clinical director for Dental Sleep Medicine and TMJ Clinic at the VA Medical Center at the San Francisco Campus. 

San Francisco Dental Wellness uses high-quality custom-made night guards for occlusal splint therapy to relax your jaw muscles and prevent bruxism (teeth grinding) while you sleep.

At the time of treatment, we’ll provide you with an estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company based on the information they provide us. The estimate is not a guarantee of benefits or payment. As a courtesy to our patients, we’ll file all insurance claims. If the insurance company's payment is less than or more than the estimate, you will be billed for the difference or issued a credit on your account should there be an overpayment. Kindly notify us in advance if you have any questions about our policies or financing options.

Please print and fill out our new patient forms and bring them with you to your first appointment, or plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill them out at our office. 

Additionally, we ask that you bring your dental insurance card and a list of any medications you are currently taking.
